What changed in each release. Stable release notes also travel in the update manifest; this page is their home.

The first release of the Rust rewrite, continuing the version line of the original Swift app.

Highlights

  • Native on three platforms. One codebase on gpui: macOS (Apple Silicon, notarized), Linux (AppImage) and Windows (per-user installer).
  • Five agents. Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Pi and Oh-My-Pi, each with its own launch adapter; native hooks where the CLI has them.
  • Activity detection. Hooks, terminal titles, screen content and process inspection combined into running, idle and needs input.
  • A real terminal. libghostty-vt with a GPU-drawn grid, Kitty graphics, OSC 8 links.
  • Control socket and sirioctl. Panels, workspaces, surfaces and notifications, with cmux-compatible command names.
  • Signed auto-update. Ed25519-signed artifacts, Stable and Nightly channels, per-platform apply with rollback on failure.
  • Bezel appearance. Light and dark palettes from bezel, five base colours, Sirio’s coral.
